I failed critical care last semester and had to retake it this semester. I took the first 2 exams and did not do well at all. I was on the verge of being kicked out of my program if I failed this class a second time. Then I hired Katy and she helped me turn that around and actually pass the class! She is an honest-to-god miracle worker and 100% plan to hire her again when it comes time to study for the NCLEX!

I sought Katy’s help after failing the NCLEX twice. No it’s not what I wanted to happen to me on my journey to becoming a nurse but Katy never once made me feel like I was a loser or stupid for failing twice. She in fact made me feel as if it was completely normal and that I was actually still really smart. Katy dug deep into what I needed most and helped me recognize that I truthfully was my own worst enemy. I was not believing in myself because of my failures. She helped me realize the reason I went into nursing in the first place. She told me to always remind myself that it is just a test. She took the time to ask me NCLEX style questions based off the areas I was struggling with most. She helped break it down and turn it into an easier way to remember. She never once made me feel like I was being dumb even if I did forget some really funny things at times. She would take the time to watch me take quizzes and see how my brain was dissecting each question and see why I chose the answer I was choosing. Katy helped me in so many ways and I could not recommend her enough. She helped me pass my NCLEX. And now I’m able to say that I am an RN and it’s all because of Katy. Without her help in recognizing my weaknesses and turning them into strengths and learning from them I would not have passed. Shes amazing. Great tutor, very patient. She also offered great practice questions. Easy to talk to and was very personable as well. I was struggling with a problem and she helped me understand it and I could do it on my own by the end.
